Daneric Hazelman

Daneric Hazelman, a member of the 2011 and 2012 Carthage men’s tennis teams, will enter his second season as graduate assistant men’s and women’s tennis coach in 2018-19. Hazelman concluded his Red Men career with a berth to the 2012 NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Doubles Quarterfinals en route to Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-America honors.
 
A two-time All-CCIW First Team selection, Hazelman capped his playing stint with a 52-12 (.818) singles record, and a program-leading 57 career doubles wins with teammate Jeff Lotz Jr. The 2012 campaign saw Hazelman notch 34 doubles and 29 singles victories, both single-season records.
 
Hazelman played his freshman and sophomore seasons at New Mexico Militatry Institute, where he was the head men’s tennis coach from 2013-2014. From there, he was the graduate assistant men’s and women’s tennis coach at NCAA Division II Henderson State University (Ark.) during the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.
 
Most recently, Hazelman was employed at Midtown Athletic Club in Bannockburn, Ill.
 
He obtained a bachelor’s degree from Carthage in 2012, and a master’s from Henderson State University in 2016. Hazelman will pursue a master’s in education at Carthage College.
