Biography
2014: Finished fourth in both the 200 individual medley (2:10.28) and the 400 individual medley (4:36.84) and fifth in the 200 backstroke (2:11.12) at the CCIW Swimming & Diving Championship…part of a CCIW-championship 400-medley relay team.
2013: Finished fifth in the 200 backstroke (2:11.06) and seventh in both the 200 individual medley (2:13.47) and the 400 individual medley (4:44.56) at the CCIW Swimming & Diving Championship…
2012: Finished fourth in the 400 individual medley (4:39.98), fifth in the 200 individual medley (2:11.59) and seventh in the 100 backstroke (1:00.86) at the CCIW Swimming & Diving Championship…named CCIW “swimmer of the week” on Jan. 31.
2011: Finished seventh in the 200 individual medley (2:14.33), seventh in the 100 backstroke (1:0184.) and 10th in the 100 butterfly (1:00.52) at the CCIW Swimming & Diving Championship.
High School: Earned first-team All-Mississippi Valley Conference and first-team all-metro honors both her junior and senior years…won a regional title in the 200 individual medley her senior year and finished ninth in the event at the Iowa High School Athletic Association state championship…her junior-year team won a conference championship, and her senior-year squad won a regional title…coached by Chad Derlein…two-year member of the tennis team…National Honor Society member, Mississippi Valley Conference all-academic, four-year honor student and graduated with honors.
Personal: Elementary education major…named to the Carthage dean’s list six times.
