Carthage College Athletics

2013: Qualified for two individual events at the NCAA Division III Swimming Championship, the 100 butterfly (26th in the preliminaries with a time of 58.34) and the 200 backstroke (31st in the preliminaries with a time of 2:10.68)…also part of NCAA-qualifying relay teams in the 200 freestyle, the 400 freestyle, the 200 medley and the 400 medley…finished second in the 200 backstroke (2:07.47) and third in both the 100 backstroke (58.85) and the 100 butterfly (57.61) at the CCIW Swimming Championship…part of a second-place CCIW relay teams in the 200 medley and the 400 medley.

2012: Finished third in the 200 backstroke (2:07.45), fifth in the 100 butterfly (58.78) and part of a conference-championship 200 medley relay team at the CCIW Swimming Championship…named CCIW “swimmer of the week” on Nov. 22.

2011: Attended Indiana-Purdue at Indianapolis her freshman year and was a member of the swimming team…finished 16th in the 200 individual medley at the Summit League Swimming Championship…named to the dean’s list.

High School: A state qualifier her senior year…finished fifth in the 100 butterfly and sixth in the 100 backstroke at the sectionals…earned honorable mention All-DuPage Valley Conference honors as a senior…coached by Nick Parry…four-year member of the track and field team…National Honor Society member, DuPage Valley Conference all-academic and honor student.

Personal: English major…named 2013 College Swimming Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America…named to the Carthage dean’s list twice and a two-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born May 7, 1992.
