Rick Leslie (0-13, 1 year) began his first year as head women’s golf coach starting with the spring-portion of the 2010-11 season. 

Leslie is a certified Professional Golf Association professional and has been the PGA Director of Instruction at The Club at Strawberry Creek in Kenosha, Wis., since the club opened in 2006. He is also a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified instructor, and he is working on certification as a golf fitness instructor through TPI.

 

Prior to Strawberry Creek, Leslie served as the first assistant PGA Golf Professional at the North Shore Country Club in Mequon, Wis., and as the assistant golf professional at the North Hills Country Club in Menomonee Falls, Wis. 

A native of Menomonee Falls, Wis., Leslie attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for two years before transferring to the Milwaukee School of Engineering, where he graduated in 1993 with a bachelor’s in industrial engineering. Leslie was a member of both the baseball and golf teams at MSOE and earned All-Lake Michigan Conference honors in both sports. 

He obtained Class A PGA status in 2005 and PGA Certified Professional status in 2007 and continues to play in numerous Wisconsin PGA events and state opens.
