Carthage College Athletics

2014:  Finished eighth in the triple jump (42-6 ¾) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished sixth in the triple jump (43-7 ¾) and 17th in the 400-meter dash (52.91) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship.

2013:  Finished seventh in the 400-meter hurdles (57.93), seventh in the triple jump (42-0 ½) and 16th in the long jump (19-8) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished sixth in the triple jump (43-4 ½) and 10th in the long jump (21-1 ½) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship.

2012:  Finished fourth in the triple jump (43-8 ½) and seventh in the long jump (20-7 ¾) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished sixth in the triple jump (42-4 ¼) and ninth in the long jump (21-0 3/4) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship…part of a Carthage-record indoor 4x400-meter relay team at the Chicagoland Indoor Championship.

2011:  Finished 10th in the triple jump (42-6) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished ninth in the long jump (20-6 ¼) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship.

2010:  Attended Parkland College, which does not sponsor varsity athletics, his freshman year.

High School:  Earned all-state honors his junior year…finished seventh in the 400-meter dash (50.53) and 12th in the triple jump (42-2 ¾) at the Illinois High School Association Class 1A state championship…part of a school-record 3,200-meter relay team that finished third at the state championship and also part of a 1,600-meter relay team that took fourth place…named Champaign News-Gazette all-area…all-state as a junior in both the 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter relays…part of three Sangamon Valley Conference championship teams and two sectional-championship squads…coached by Jon Jamison…member of the cross country team his senior year.

Personal:  Double major in computer science and management…member of the 2012 and 2013 Carthage cross country teams…named to the Carthage dean's list twice.
