Carthage College Athletics

2017 (Cross Country): Notched a 27:40.9 at the CCIW Championship... Participated in four meets. 

2017 (Track & Field): Registered a 9:04.99 in the 3000 meter run at the CCIW Indoor Championship, good enough for 12th place... Took sixth place with the distance medley relay team at the CCIW Indoor Championship with a time of 10:56.90... Competed in the 5000 meter run at the CCIW Outdoor Championship, where he took 17th place with a time of 16:30.06. 

2016 (Cross Country):  Finished two meets on the season... Tallied a season-best 27:36.2 at the UW-Parkside Lucian Rosa Invite on October 8. 

2016 (Track & Field):  Took second in the 5000 meter run at the Private College Invitational with a time of 16:41.97....Finished second in the 3000 meter run at the Illinois Wesleyan Keck Indoor Division III Select with a time of 9:14.82.....Crossed the finish line at 16:40.74 in the 5000 meter run at the Chicagoland Indoor Championships.....Finished eighth in the 1-mile run at the Olivet Nazarene Qualifier with a time of 4:37.68.

2015 (Cross Country):  Ran a season-best 26.58.1 at the AAE Invitational on October 17, where he placed fourth among all Red Men.... Clocked in with a 28:09.7 at the CCIW Championships on November 14.

2015 (Track & Field):  Finished 21st in the 5,000-meter run (16:51.14) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished 26th in the 3,000-meter run (9:42.40) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship.

2014 (Cross Country):  Finished 31st at the CCIW Men’s Cross Country Championship with a season-best time of 26:13.68…ran a 27:15.10 at the NCAA Midwest Regional.

High School:  Part of state-qualifying 4x800-meter relay team his junior year…coached by Ross Widinski…in cross country, earned All-Southwest Suburban Conference honors his senior year…honor student.

Personal:  History major…member of the 2014 Carthage cross country team…an older brother, Dan August, was a four-year member of the Carthage cross country and track and field teams and graduated in 2014…another brother, Ryan August, played baseball at Indiana-Purdue at Fort Wayne.
