Biography
2012: Finished 17th in the 10,000-meter run (33:51.90) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished seventh in the 5,000-meter run (15:12.09) and ninth in the 3,000-meter run (8:41.27) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship…set a Carthage indoor record in the 5,000-meter run (15:11.31) at the Chicagoland Indoor Track and Field Championship.
2011: Finished 12th in the 5,000-meter run (15:49.93) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship.
2010: Finished fifth in the 10,000-meter run (31:58.70) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished 12th in the 3,000-meter run (8:57.45) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship.
High School: Named All-Corn Belt Conference and all-area both his junior and senior years…in cross country, earned all-state honors his senior year with a 25th-place finish at the Illinois High School Association Class 2A state championship and named all-area all four years…coached by Keith Pogue…National Honor Society member, honorable mention academic all-state, Corn Belt Conference all-academic and high honors student.
Personal: Double major in chemistry and physics…member of the 2009-11 Carthage cross country teams…named to the Carthage dean’s list four times and an eight-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born May 23, 1991.
