Biography
2013: Won in the hammer throw (177-6) and finished sixth in the discus (144-11) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished second in the weight throw (58-6 ¾) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship…named CCIW “Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week” on Jan. 15.
2012: Finished fourth in the discus (150-11) and sixth in the hammer throw (164-8) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished third in the weight throw (59-9 ½) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship.
2011: Finished 15th in the discus (130-6) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished seventh in the weight throw (54-5 ¼) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship.
2010: Finished 16th in the discus (130-0) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished 10th in the weight throw (46-11 1/2) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship.
High School: A state qualifier his senior year…a sectional qualifier both his sophomore and junior years…coached by Joe Kessner…four-year member of the football and basketball teams…German National Honor Society member and high honors student.
Personal: Double major in environmental science and geography…named to the spring 2010 Carthage dean’s list and a four-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born July 31, 1990.
