Cale Brown was named the assistant track and field coach at Carthage in the fall of 2021, after serving two seasons as a graduate assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s track and field teams. During Brown's stint as a graduate assistant, he guided Tyrani White to the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships in 2020 where she earned all-America honors. A graduate of Carthage in 2014, Brown won two indoor CCIW triple jump championships during his time on the team, and was a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that qualified for the 2013 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Brown was a member of the current school record indoor track and field 4x4000-meter relay as well as the outdoor track and field sprint medley relay. Brown works primarily with sprinters, jumpers, and hurdlers.
