Biography
2012: Did not compete in either the indoor or the outdoor seasons.
2011: Won the shot put (52-9 ¼) and finished third in the discus (157-6) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished second in the shot put (51-8 ¼) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship.
2010: Finished second in the shot put (52-3 ¼) and fourth in the discus (148-4) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished fifth in the shot put (48-4) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship.
2009: Finished third in the shot put (48-5 ¼) and fifth in the discus (143-9) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished sixth in the shot put (47-7 3/4) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship.
2008: Injured and did not compete.
High School: A three-time All-North Suburban Conference honoree in the shot put and a two-time sectional champion and state qualifier… twice named Waukegan News-Sun All-Lake County…coached by John Brummond…in football, named all-conference, Daily Herald all-area, Pioneer Press all-area, Waukegan News-Sun All-Lake County and Lakeland Press All-Lake County both his junior and senior years…honor student.
Personal: Double major in criminal justice and sociology…linebacker on the 2007-10 Carthage football teams…a four-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born April 23, 1989.
