Carthage College Athletics

2015:  Named to the Winter CCIW Academic All-Conference... Finished first in the 1,650 freestyle (15:53.69), second in the 500 freestyle (4:38.13) and 13th in the 200 freestyle (1:46.69) at the CCIW Swimming & Diving Championship.

2014:  Finished second in the 1,650 freestyle (16:01.49), third in the 500 freestyle (4:39.09) and sixth in the 200 freestyle (1:45.03) at the CCIW Swimming & Diving Championship.

2013:  Finished 13th in the 1,650 freestyle (15:55.41) at the NCAA Division III Swimming Championship, and his 1,000 freestyle split of 9:32.07 in the event set both a Carthage and a CCIW record…also qualified in the NCAA 200 freestyle, (49th in the preliminaries with a time of 1:45.43) and the 500 freestyle (29th in the preliminaries with a time of 4:36.97)…finished first in the 1,650 freestyle (15:51.96), fourth in the 500 freestyle (4:38.29) and sixth in the 200 freestyle (1:45.89) at the CCIW Swimming & Diving Championship…part of a CCIW championship relay team in the 800 freestyle.

2012:  Won the both 500 freestyle (4:41.45) and the 1,650 freestyle (16:09.84) and finished 14th in the 200 freestyle (1:48.96) at the CCIW Swimming & Diving Championship…ranked 3rd in the all-time Carthage 1,650 freestyle, fourth in the 1,000 freestyle and sixth in the 500 freestyle.

High School:  Part of school-record relay teams in the 200 freestyle and the 400 freestyle…coached by Ted Smolinski…National Honor Society member, four-year honor student and graduated with honors.

Personal:  Classical studies major…named 2013 College Swimming Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America…named to the Carthage dean's list twice.
