2020-21: Swam personal-bests in the 50-yard (25.13) and 100-yard (55.89) freestyle at the CCIW Cup ... Recorded a season-best time of 1:01.57 in the 100-yard fly at the CCIW Cup. 

High School: Swam for head coach Derrick Rendon at Indian Trail High School and Academy ... Helped his team reach a 7-0 dual meet record his senior season, and place second at the conference championship.

Personal: Majoring in Biology ... Son of April and Aaron Rains ... Swims club for the Pleasant Prairie Patriots.
