Carthage College Athletics

2013:  Finished third in the 200 backstroke (1;55.12), fourth in the 100 backstroke (53.52) and ninth in the 200 freestyle (1:44.55) at the CCIW Swimming Championship…part of a CCIW championship relay team in the 800 freestyle and part of a third-place CCIW relay teams in both the 200 freestyle and the 400 medley.

2012:  Tied for second place in the 200 freestyle (1:44.33), finished third in the 200 backstroke (1:53.68), fourth in the 100 backstroke (53.05) and part of a runner-up 200 freestyle relay team at the CCIW Swimming Championship…ranked third all-time in the Carthage 200 backstroke, sixth in the 100 backstroke and 10th in the 200 freestyle.

2011:  Finished third in the 200 butterfly (2:01.19), third in the 200 freestyle (1:44.87) and sixth in the 200 backstroke (1:58.70) at the CCIW Swimming Championship…part of a conference-championship team in the 800 freestyle relay.

2010:  Finished fourth in the 200 backstroke (1:56.92), fifth in the 200 freestyle (1:46.31) and sixth in the 200 butterfly (1:58.21) at the CCIW Swimming Championship…won the 200 butterfly (2:09.07) at the Wisconsin Private College Championship.

High School:  A four-year All-Northern Illinois 10 Conference honoree and a state qualifier in both the 100 and 200 freestyles…coached by Sue Hayes and Christine Kuspa and by Mike Karnaugh at the Beloit Aquatic Club…National Honor Society member, academic all-state and honor student.

Personal:  Mathematics major…named to the fall 2009 Carthage dean’s list and a three-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born June 21, 1991.
