Carthage College Athletics

Mitch Buenger begins his first year as a part-time assistant coach in 2012-13.  A native of Racine, Wis., Buenger attended Park High School and won a 2007 Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association title in the 50-yard freestyle.  He went to letter four times in swimming at Wisconsin-Madison where he part of a 2011 NCAA qualifying team in the 200 freestyle relay.  Buenger is currently a youth counselor and is married to the former Jenna Schonert, who played soccer at Wisconsin-Madison
