Derrick Rendon is in his third year as a Carthage College graduate assistant swimming and diving coach in 2020-21. Rendon was a four-year letterwinner on the Carthage swimming team between 2012 and 2015.
He is currently a substitute teacher in the Kenosha Unified School system and has been the boys swimming coach at Indian Trail High School since 2015. Rendon has also been a coach for the Pleasant Prairie Patriots club team since 2014. He joined the Carthage coaching staff in 2018-19.
A native of Waukesha, Wis., Rendon graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in both accounting and finance. He is completing work on his master’s degree in education, also at Carthage.
