Biography
2019: Played in five events and averaged 79.0…shot a career-low round of 76 at the Sept. 30 Benedictine (Ill.) “Eagle Invitational”…shot a career two-day low of 155 at the Sept. 7-8 Olivet Nazarene Fall Invitational... CCIW Spring Academic All-Conference.
2017: Played in four events and averaged 82.6... Tallied a single-round, season-low 80 at the Elmhurst Fall Invitational... CCIW Spring Academic All-Conference.
High School: Named first-team All-Midwestern Classic Conference team MVP in 2017...top-two in both the 2015 and 2016 regional and sectional tournaments...named 2014 Christian Life “most improved player.”.. also a member of the football and basketball teams...National Honor Society member. Graduated with honors and received the Christian Life Presidential Gold Award for Academic Excellence from 2013 to 2017.
Personal: Business management major…son of Daniel and Nini Cortez.
