2012:  Earned second-team All-CCIW honors with a 19th-place finish at the CCIW Men’s Cross Country championship with a time of 25:36…finished 49th at the NCAA Midwest Regional with a time of 25:39.10…named CCIW “Cross Country Athlete of the Week” on Sept. 11 after leading the Red Men at the Sept. 8 Wisconsin-Stevens Point “Pointer Open”…named CCIW “Cross Country Athlete of the Week” again after winning the Oct. 5 Benedictine (Ill.) “Eagle Invitational” with a career-best time of 25:27.61.

2011:  Carthage’s top finisher at the NCAA Midwest Regional in 99th place with a time of 26:54.80…the Red Men’s top finisher at the CCIW Men’s Cross Country Championship in 28th place with a time of 27:04.21…ran a season-best 26:03.30 to finish second at the Concordia (Wis.) “Falcon Invitational.”

2010:  Finished 26th at the CCIW Men’s Cross Country Championship with a time of 25:49.00…finished 79th at the NCAA Midwest Regional with a season-best time of 25:39.90…named CCIW “runner of the week” after finishing second at the Lawrence “Gene Davis Invitational.”

2009:  Carthage’s top finisher at the NCAA Midwest Regional in 72nd place with a time of 26:05.60…finished 26th at the CCIW Men’s Cross Country Championship with a time of 28:27.20…ran a season-best 26:06.54, second-best on the 2009 Carthage team…at the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational.

High School:  Earned all-state honors his senior year with a 25th-place finish at the Illinois High School Association Class 2A state championship…named All-Corn Belt Conference both his junior and senior years and all-area all four years…coached by Neil Garrison…in track and field, all-conference and all-area his junior and senior years…National Honor Society member, honorable mention academic all-state, Corn Belt Conference all-academic and high honors student.

Personal:  Double major in chemistry and physics…distance runner on the 2010-13 Carthage track and field teams…named to Carthage dean’s list four times and a seven-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born May 23, 1991.
