Biography
2017: Finished fourth in the 500 yard freestyle at the CCIW Swimming and Diving Championships with a time of 4:44.50… Placed fifth in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:44.26 at the CCIW Swimming and Diving Championships… Took thirteenth in the 1650 yard freestyle (17:11.81) at the CCIW Swimming and Diving Championships... CCIW Winter Academic All-Conference.
2016: Placed sixth in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:45.45 at the CCIW Championships...Named Men's Swimming Scholar Athlete... Named to the CCIW Winter Academic All-Conference.
2015: Finished fifth in the 500 freestyle (4:44.55) and 12th in the 200 backstroke (1:59.79) at the CCIW Swimming & Diving Championship.
2014: Finished fourth in the 100 backstroke (53.24), eighth in the 500 freestyle (4:44.97) and ninth in the 200 backstroke (1:59.54) at the CCIW Swimming & Diving Championship.
High School: part of sectional-championship 200 medley relay team his senior year and finished third in the 200 freestyle…coached by Dick Mortensen…a YMCA short-course national qualifier…Illinois State Scholar and honor student.
Personal: Double major in music and religion…named to the Carthage dean's list three times.
