Biography
2016: Made 37 combined starts at second base and pitcher....Registered a .269 batting average (28-for-104) with six doubles, two home runs and 25 runs scored.....Went 4-for-5 with three RBI and one home run in a 16-2 victory over Elmhurst College on April 27....Made 10 starts on the pitching rubber...Tallied a 5.48 ERA and 33 strikeouts in 69 innings of work.....Finished with a 4-6 record in the pitching circle....
2015: Named to the Spring CCIW Academic All-Conference... Made 13 pitching appearances, all starts and went 4-8 with a 5.69 earned run average and eight complete games…started in the field 21 times, including 11 games at third base, one game at first base and nine as a designated hitter…batted .230 with two home runs and 16 RBI.
2014: Named second-team All-CCIW…made 18 pitching appearance, including 13 starts…compiled an 8-4 record with a 1.42 earned run average, seven complete games, four shutouts and one save over 84.0 innings…batted 46 times and hit.198…attended Lamar University for the fall semester and transferred to Carthage in January 2014.
High School: Named Wisconsin Fastpitch Coaches Association first-team all-state, Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel first-team all-area and Kenosha News first-team All-Kenosha County her senior year with a 19-4 record, a 1.44 earned run average, 209 strikeouts in 155 innings and a .378 batting average…first-team all-state, Southeast Conference "player of the year" and first-team all-county as a junior with a 0.51 earned run average, 96 strikeouts in 79 innings and a .480 batting average…second-team all-county as a sophomore with a 0.76 ERA and a .540 batting average…honorable mention all-county as a freshman with a 0.30 ERA and a .560 batting mark…her senior-year team finished second at the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 1 state championship…all four of her teams won conference championships…coached by John Ruffolo…National Honor Society member.
Personal: Graphic design major…her grandfather is Kenosha-native Bob Hartman, who pitched for the MLB Milwaukee Braves in 1959 and for the 1962 Cleveland Indians…named to the spring 2014 Carthage dean’s list.
