Carthage College Athletics

2013:  Finished fourth in the 200 freestyle (1:56.32), fifth in the 1,650 freestyle (17:57.08) and sixth in the 500 freestyle (5:12.18) at the CCIW Swimming Championship…named CCIW “swimmer of the week” on Nov. 20.

2012:  Finished fourth in the 1,650 freestyle (17:43.46), fifth in the 500 freestyle (5:10.41) and sixth in the 200 freestyle (1:57.09) at the CCIW Swimming Championship…named CCIW “swimmer of the week” after winning three events versus Lewis on Jan. 7…named CCIW “swimmer of the week” a second time on Jan. 24 after winning two events versus Wheaton (Ill.) on Jan. 21.

2011:  Part of an 800 freestyle relay team that finished 10th at the NCAA Division III Swimming Championship and named College Swimming Coaches Association of America All-America…finished fourth in the 500 freestyle (5:11.26), fourth in the 1,650 freestyle (Carthage-record 17:46.93) and fifth in the 200 freestyle (1:57.22) at the CCIW Swimming Championship…part of a conference-championship 800 freestyle relay team…named CCIW “swimmer of the week” on Feb. 1.

High School:  A four-time Upstate 8 academic all-conference selection and named National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association all-academic her senior year…coached by Katie Peterson, who lettered on the 2003-06 Carthage swimming teams and the 2006 water polo squad…four-year member of the water polo team and named all-sectional her junior year… Illinois State Scholar and honor student.

Personal:  Environmental science major…member of the 2011-14 Carthage water polo teams…named to the Carthage dean’s list seven times.
