Carthage College Athletics

Finished her four-year career as Carthage’s all-time leader in home runs (38), RBI (123), bases on balls (72) and games started (159), while ranked fourth in slugging percentage (.624), fifth in base hits (154), eighth in on-base percentage (.422), tied for 13th place in doubles (21) and ranked 15th in batting average (.330)
2012:  Named National Fastpitch Coaches Association first-team All-Great Lakes Region and CCIW "Softball Player of the Year" with a .321 batting average, 10 doubles, a Carthage-record 14 home runs, a team-leading 41 RBI. a .693 slugging percentage, a Carthage-record 31 bases on balls and a .439 on-base percentage…named CCIW “player of the week” on April 17…started all 47 games, 29 at first base and 18 as the designated hitter…had 13 games with two or more RBI, including a four-RBI game versus Loras on April 5…compiled a 17-game hitting streak, tied for second-longest in school history, between March 29 and April 19…made 19 pitching appearances, including 18 starts and went 9-3 with a 3.83 earned run average and nine complete games.

2011:  Named second-team All-CCIW with a .322 batting average, seven doubles, eight home runs and 26 RBI…played in 39-of-40 games and made 39 starts, 33 at first base and six as the designated hitter…had 11 multiple-hit games and 19 games with two or more RBI…made seven pitching appearances and five starts and went 2-3 with an 8.94 earned run average over 18.0 innings.

2010:  Named National Fast Pitch Coaches Association first-team All-America, Carthage’s first-ever All-American, NFCA first-team All-Great Lakes Regional and first-team All-CCIW…batted .402 (third in the CCIW) with four doubles, 11 home runs (first in the CCIW), 37 RBI (second in the CCIW), a .750 slugging percentage and a .492 on-base percentage…played in 39-of-40 games and made 39 starts as the designated hitter…had 13 multiple-hit games, including four three-hits games…had nine games with two or more RBI, including five RBI against Hope on March 30…made four pitching appearances, all starts, and went 0-4 with an 8.20 earned run average.

2009:  Appeared in 34-of-37 games and made 34 starts, seven at third base and 27 as the designated hitter…batted .273 with five home runs and 19 RBI…made four relief-pitching appearances with a 0.00 earned run average over 15.0 innings and two saves.

High School:  Named All-Southwest Prairie Conference three-straight years…her senior-year team reached the sectionals, and junior-year squad qualified for the regionals…coached by Tara Singler.

Personal:  Special education major…named to the spring 2011 Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born Sept. 5, 1989.
