Biography
2012: Finished third in the shot put (42-6) and sixth in the javelin (109-7) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished fourth in the shot put (40-4 ¼) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship.
2011: Finished fifth in the shot put (39-1) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished third in the shot put (40-4) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship.
2010: Finished 11th in the javelin (98-0) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship.
2009: Personal outdoor bests of 33-4 ½ in the shot put at the North Central (Ill.) “First Chance Invitational” and 93-10 in the javelin at the Chicagoland Outdoor Track and Field Championship…personal indoor bests of 34-6 in the shot put and 33-9 in the weight throw, both at the Carthage “Gill Athletics Last Chance Invitational.”
High School: Team field-event MVP her senior year on a team that won an Upstate 8 Conference indoor title…coached by Jim Braun…four-year member of the volleyball team her senior year…honor student.
Personal: Exercise and sport science major…middle blocker on the 2008-11 Carthage volleyball teams…a three-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born Oct. 2, 1989.
