Biography
2012: Finished fifth in the 200 backstroke (1:59.71), eighth in the 100 backstroke (55.71) and ninth in the 100 butterfly (53.78) at the CCIW Swimming Championship…ranked 11th in the all-time Carthage 100 backstroke, 15th in the 50 freestyle, 15th in the 200 freestyle, 17th in the 100 freestyle and 19th in the 100 butterfly.
High School: Finished second in the 100 backstroke and third in the 100 butterfly at the Northern Independent Conference championship his senior year…second in the 100 freestyle and third in the 100 backstroke his junior year…second in the 100 backstroke and third in the 500 freestyle as a sophomore and third in the 100 backstroke as a freshman…coached by Pat Egan…coached by Amy Kurth for the Byron Tiger Sharks.
Personal: Physics major…son of William and Melissa Reecher…named to the fall 2011 Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born Feb. 11, 1993.
