Carthage College Athletics

2012:  Finished sixth in the 100 butterfly (59.56), ninth in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.99) and 10th in the 200 breaststroke (2:36.84) at the CCIW Swimming Championship.

2011:  Finished ninth in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.80), 11th in the 200 breaststroke (2:37.90) and 14th in the 100 butterfly (1:01.82) at the CCIW Swimming Championship.

High School:  Qualified for the Minnesota State High School League state championship five-straight years…named National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association All-America her junior year in the 200 medley relay, and that relay team broke a sectional record…her sophomore-year team won a sectional championship, and all four of her teams finished in the top-16 at the state championship…coached by Dale Magneson…a five-time Big 9 Conference all-academic pick and a five-year high honors student.

Personal:  Neuroscience major…twin sister of teammate Johanna Heidorn…her brother, Peter Heidorn was on the football, swimming and track field teams at St. Olaf College…her sister, Danaca, was a swimmer at St. Olaf…named to the fall 2010 Carthage dean’s list and a two-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born May 23, 1991.
