Biography
2011: Part of a 400 freestyle relay team that finished 20th the NCAA Division III Swimming Championship, a 400 medley team finished 20th and an 800 freestyle team that was 22nd…finished fourth in the 50 freestyle (21.59), fifth in the 100 freestyle (47.51) and seventh in the 100 butterfly (53.50) at the CCIW Swimming Championship…part of conference-championship relay teams in both the 200 freestyle and the 400 freestyle.
2010: Finished fifth in the 100 freestyle (47.59) and sixth in the 100 butterfly (52.46) at the CCIW Swimming Championship…part of CCIW-championship relay teams in the 200 freestyle, the 400 freestyle and the 800 freestyle.
2009: Finished second in the 100 freestyle (47.10), third in the 50 freestyle (21.19) and seventh in the 100 butterfly (53.38) at the CCIW Swimming Championship…part of a conference-championship 200 freestyle relay team…finished second in the 100 freestyle at the Wisconsin Private College Championship…an NCAA “B” qualifier in the 50 freestyle and ranked fourth all-time in that event at Carthage.
2008: Finished fifth in the 50 freestyle (21.77), eighth in the 100 butterfly (53.43) and eighth in the 100 freestyle (48.76) at the CCIW Swimming Championship and part of a conference-champion 200 freestyle relay team…won the 200 freestyle at the Wisconsin Private College Championship.
High School: Minnesota State High School League Swimming Championship finalist in 50 freestyle (eighth place) and a consolation finalist in 100 freestyle (11th place)…coached by Sandy Hanson…in football, named first-team all-sectional, St. Cloud Times first-team all-area and honorable mention All-Central Lakes Conference his senior year and set a school season record with eight interceptions…three-year member of the track and field team.
Personal: Mathematics major…defensive back on the 2007 Carthage football team…a Carthage Lincoln Scholarship finalist…a two-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…son of Scott and Deb Bendix…born March 7, 1989.
