NAPERVILLE — Carthage College will enter the 2025 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Golf Championship as the second-ranked team in the league's annual pre-championship coaches' poll, released ahead of Thursday's opening round at WeaverRidge Golf Club in Peoria, Illinois.

The Firebirds earned 49 points and received one first-place vote in the poll, which was topped by defending champion Illinois Wesleyan. The Titans collected 64 points and secured the remaining eight first-place votes.

Carthage will look to challenge for its first league title since 2007 in the 54-hole championship, which runs Thursday through Saturday.
