KENOSHA - The Carthage College men's swim and dive team put together a strong showing in their home tri-meet against MSOE and Lake Forest on Saturday, October 25.

The Firebirds opened the competition with a statement win in the 200-yard medley relay, as
AJ Landorf,
Andrew Laborevitch,
Tyson Politsch, and
Ben Przekota combined for a first-place time of 1:37.90.
Landorf went on to lead individually, capturing first in both the 100 backstroke (54.92) and the 200 individual medley (2:00.45). Politsch added a runner-up finish in the 100 breaststroke (59.96) and a close second in the 200 breaststroke (2:15.71).
On the boards, Taydin Murphy dominated both diving events, winning the 1-meter (234.05) and 3-meter (234.85) competitions. Will Murray continued to be a key contributor, earning third in the 100 (49.03) and 200 freestyle (1:49.63), while
Trey Halas claimed the top spot in the 200 backstroke (2:02.40).
The Firebirds capped the day with a second-place finish in the 200 freestyle relay, featuring Przekota, Politsch,
Aidan Nord, and Murray, clocking in at 1:29.10.
