"White Deer Run Golf Club is an excellent golf course, and a course where you must play smart on almost every hole," noted Carthage College director of golf and head men's golf coach
Jay Christiansen.
"That sets up exactly the way Jared [Christensen] likes to play, and he didn't disappoint. Our senior leader was excellent today."
"We took another step forward today. We played a lot of good golf and, when we struggled, we didn't let it impact our approach. We battled back and stayed very solid. Shooting 300 is a very good score, and I think we have even better scores ahead."
