YORKVILLE, Ill. - The Carthage Firebirds men's golf team took fifth out of 13 total teams at the CCIW Preview this afternoon at Whitetail Golf Course. Sophomore Alex Lilly led the team by shooting a 75 (+4) - good for a 14th-place finish out of 64 total golfers.

• The Firebirds will head to Kansasville, Wisconsin for the Midwest Region Classic at Brighton Dale Links. The classic will take place on Sunday, September 25 and Monday, September 26. The start times for each day are to be announced.
