Firebirds Take On Austin in Saturday Home Contest

KENOSHA, Wis. — On the second day of their three-game series home, Carthage fell to Austin 19-0 Saturday morning at home. 

Junior Katlynn LaGrone and senior Kayli Sayatovic each tallied four shots in the contest. Freshman Gladys Contreras followed closely with three, while sophomores Alyssa Sayatovic, Taylor Woitesek, freshmen Alexandra Mears, Sydney Logan, and Dominika Myrda registered one apiece. In goal, sophomore Gabrielle Pavesich made four saves for the Firebirds. 

Carthage wraps up the weekend playing Macalester and Augustana (Ill.) on Sunday, April 10 with game one starting at 9:30 a.m.
