NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Women's bowling tied for fourth place with Augustana College in their first day of CCIW Championship qualifier matches this Saturday afternoon.

The Firebirds finished 7-5 today alongside the Vikings to land in fourth, beginning the event with a 823-777 win against Carroll. The team would drop their next two matches 884-854 to Aurora, and 828-810 to Marian in close contests, but would close out 900-547 against Lakeland to end day one of the event in good standings.

Carthage has three more games set for tomorrow, March 6th to determine the top four teams who will advance to the CCIW Championship.
