NAPERVILLE, Ill. — The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) announced their 2021 awards on Thursday naming
Rylee Johnson to the all-conference first team while
Donna Stevens was selected to the second team.
Johnson registered 35 hits and a batting average of .432 for the Firebirds through 33 games played on the season. The junior from Trevor, Wis. also tallied 24 runs batted in, hit nine doubles, and stole five bases during the regular season. Johnson had a season-best three hits against Elmhurst on May 2.
Stevens is on the all-conference list for the first time after recording 32 hits, five doubles, one triple, and 17 runs batted in through 34 games played. The junior from Darien, Ill., also had a .305 batting average during the regular season.
