Firebirds Picked Second in CCIW Men’s Golf Championship Coaches’ Poll

Naperville, Ill. — The Carthage College Men's golf team was picked second in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Golf Championship Coaches' Poll announced on Thursday.

The Firebirds received 55 points in the poll with one first place vote. Carthage finished third at the CCIW Preview this season held at D.A Weibring Golf Club which is the site for the CCIW Championship that starts on Friday, April 30. The Firebirds are seven-time CCIW champions and last won the title in 2007.
