Carthage advanced to play top seed Marian (Wis.) in the final match of the day which was five games of traditional and baker game pin falls. The Firebirds fought hard against the Sabres but came up just short 1701-1601 as Cassie Hyland recorded a 214.

Head Coach Katelyn Zwiefelhofer

"I am extremely proud of each and every one of my girls. They worked hard every week at practice and showed significant improvement through our entire season. They showed true grit in pressure situations and truly worked as a team every game. A second place finish was such a great way to end the CCIW Championship and propel us forward into our second year as a program together".
