MADISON, Wis. — Carthage men's tennis fell to Wisconsin-Eau Claire 3-6 on the road this Friday at the John Powless Tennis Center in Madison, Wisconsin.

Carthage (0-3) began doubles play with two losses at courts one and two, but ended strong with an 8-5 victory at court three from Cooper Ferruzzi and Kevin Dunn. During singles play, Tripp Schulte would pick up a 6-4, 2-6, (10-8) win on court two. Cooper Ferruzzi would close the match with a 3-6, 6-0, (7-6, 0) win on court five.

The Firebirds will be back in action again next Friday, March 5 at 6 p.m. in Racine, Wisconsin as they take on Concordia University.
