KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College water polo team (4-8, 2-2 CWPA) will embark on a three-game slate at the 2018 Collegiate Water Polo Association Tournament II at the Pepper Natatorium in Monmouth, Ill. on March 24-25. Grove City College (12:30 p.m.) and Connecticut College (4:15 p.m.) make up the Lady Reds' two opponents on Saturday, March 24, before they face tournament-host Monmouth College on Sunday, March 25 at 1:30 p.m.

ABOUT GROVE CITY COLLEGE (3-4, 2-2 CWPA)

The Wolverines, who will enter Saturday with one week's rest, will face a Carthage team in the midst of a 13-day hiatus. Grove City fell to Washington & Jefferson 17-11, and rebounded with an 18-11 victory over Caltech on March 17 in their home pool.

Grove City's 2018 roster consists of three seniors, five juniors, three sophomores and two freshmen. The 2017 season saw the Wolverines finish 5-19, 3-11 CWPA, which included 11-3 and 14-8 losses to the Lady Reds.

Alyssa Hunt is in her third season as Grove City head women's water polo coach. Carthage owns a 12-12 all-time mark against the Wolverines.

ABOUT CONNECTICUT COLLEGE (2-4, 2-2 CWPA)

The Camels, also off one week's rest, fell to Cal Lutheran University 8-4 on March 17. Their two CWPA victories this season occurred against Penn State-Behrend (10-8) on March 10, and Utica College (8-2) on March 11.

The 2018 Camels' roster consists of five seniors, three juniors, five sophomores and two freshmen. Connecticut College is coming off a 9-16, 7-7 CWPA mark in 2018, which included 12-6, 12-4 and 9-5 losses to the Lady Reds.

Matt Anderson is in his second season as Connecticut College head women's and men's water polo coach. The Lady Reds own a 9-8 all-time mark against the Camels.

ABOUT MONMOUTH COLLEGE (3-3, 3-0 CWPA)

Like Carthage, Monmouth will enter this weekend off a two-week hiatus from competition. The Scots tallied a 3-0 mark at the CWPA Tournament I on March 10-11, which included victories over Grove City College (10-3), Connecticut College (9-7) and Utica College (8-2). Monmouth's 2018 roster consists of four seniors, two juniors, three sophomores and two freshmen.

The Lady Reds registered a 7-3 victory over Monmouth at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center on February 24.

Peter Ollis is in his fourth season as Monmouth head women's and men's water polo coach. The Lady Reds own a 9-0 all-time record against Monmouth.
