KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College water polo team hosted the front-end of the Carthage College Water Polo Tournament on Saturday. The Lady Reds opened the two-game day with a 12-5 loss to McKendree University before they rebounded with a 7-3 victory over Monmouth College.
Saturday's split gives Carthage a 2-5, 0-0 CWPA record.

Emma Jeronimus came up with a 17-save performance for the Lady Reds. Her offensive support began with
Allie Boothe, who contributed a hat trick.
Mae Van Beest continued her rookie dominance for the Lady Reds with a goal in the contest.
Jane Eckles contributed a goal for Carthage in her first game of the 2018 campaign.

Carthage got their first taste of a CWPA opponent in Monmouth, and didn't disappoint in the affair.
Jessica Graziano came up big for the Carthage offense with a hat trick, while Boothe contributed a pair of goals.
Jane Eckles and
Morgan Levy also contributed goals for the Lady Reds.
