KENOSHA, WIS. - After coming off an 0-3 weekend in California, the Carthage College water polo team recently went on a 7-10 and 9-8 split against the Wildcats Water Polo Club Team.

The Lady Reds will be hosting their annual Carthage College Tournament on Saturday, February 24, and Sunday, February 25 at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center. Â The day will begin with the Lady Reds taking on McKendree University at 2:00 p.m. before wrapping the day against Monmouth College at 7:00 p.m. Carthage will conclude the tournament on Sunday against Macalester College at 10:00 a.m.

ABOUT McKendree University (2-7, 0-0 WWPA)
The McKendree Bearcats, with an overall record of 2-7, are trying to snap their four-game losing streak after going 0-4 in the Bruno Classic Tournament in Providence, RI.

ABOUT Monmouth College (0-0, 0-0 CWPA)
The Monmouth Scots are coming off their 2017 season with an overall record of 9-8-1 and with a fifth-place finish at the CWPA Division III Championships held in St. Paul, Minn. Last season resulted in a new school record for wins (9), as well as a program-best, fifth-place finish at the CWPA Championship.

Carthage is 9-0 all time against Monmouth. The Scots registered an 11-4 victory over Carthage in their previous meeting on March 5, 2017.

ABOUT Macalester College (0-0, 0-0 CWPA)
The Macalester Scots finished their 2017 season with an overall record of 17-6. The team defeated Washington & Jefferson College 10-9 in overtime to capture the 2017 CWPA Championship.

Carthage is 15-12 overall against Macalester. Â The Scots registered a 10-2 victory over Carthage in their previous meeting on April 22, 2017 in the CWPA Division III Championships.

The Lady Reds will travel to New London, Connecticut to play against McKendree University, Monmouth College and Macalester College in the CWPA Tournament that will take place on Friday, March 9 - Sunday, March 11 at the Lott Natatorium.
