Final Results
WHEATON, Ill. – The Carthage College women's swimming and diving team earned a huge dual win Saturday, as the Lady Reds defeated the Wheaton College Thunder for the first time since 2013, with a 167-164 victory at Wheaton.

The Lady Reds improve to 7-0 in dual meets on the year, while the loss for the 20-time reigning CCIW Champions drops them to 0-4 in 2017-18 head-to-head meets.

A trio of Lady Reds each tabbed a pair of individual wins on the afternoon. The Lady Reds swept the freestyle events, with
Becca Rutkowski taking first in the 100 free [53.24] and 200 free [1:57.65], and
Hannah Pearson won the 500 free [5:24.98] and 1000 free [11:02.25].Â
Hannah Miles was the third to earn a set of first place finishes, touching first in the 100 breaststroke [1:08.16] and 200 breaststroke [2:32.71].

Allison Marsh and
Sophia Henderson rounded out the individual winners for the Lady Reds on Saturday. For Marsh, the win in the 100 back [1:01.81] is the first in her Lady Reds' career, while Henderson continues to shine on the one-meter diving board [327.90 points].

The Lady Reds concluded the meet with a pair of relay wins.Â
Becca Rutkowski,
Gianna McGuire and
DeAnn Jones were each part of both winning teams. Rutkowski, McGuire and Jones were joined by
Sara Findley to win the 200 free relay [1:39.33], and were joined by
Hannah Miles to win the 200 medley relay [1:50.49].

Carthage will return to action at home next Saturday, January 27
th for the Wisconsin Private College Championships. Action is set to begin at Koenitzer Aquatic Center at 10:30 a.m.
