Final Results
WHEATON, Ill. – The #19 Carthage College men's swimming and diving team continued their winning ways in the 2017-18 season, defeating the Thunder of Wheaton College, 166-127, Saturday night.

With the win, the Red Men move to 7-0 in the year, while Wheaton drops to 1-3 in duals.

Nicholas Wolff,
Mitchell Mages and
Aaron San Juan each collected first place finishes in multiple individual events to lead the Red Men. Wollf won the freestyle distance races with first place in the 500 free [4:56.02] and 1000 free [10:08.50], and Mages touched first in the 100 breaststroke [57.85] and 200 breaststroke [2:09.69], while San Juan took first in the one-meter [416.45] and three-meter [388.45] diving competitions.

Also picking up wins for the Red Men on Saturday were
Chris Russo in the 100 free [48.07] and
Cooper Hawkins 400 individual medley [4:10.70].

Two other Red Men had strong days of swimming, but missed out on winning by the narrowest of margins. With each swimming in a pair of events,
Sam Gabriel and
Nick Seroni came in second in their respective events by less than a second combined each.

Carthage will return to action at home next Saturday, January 27
th for the Wisconsin Private College Championships. Action is set to begin at Koenitzer Aquatic Center at 10:30 a.m.
