KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College water polo team (9-3, 7-2 CWPA) will compete at the CWPA League Tournament II on Friday, April 7 – Sunday, April 9 at the Henry Memorial Natatorium, located on the campus of Washington & Jefferson College. The Lady Reds will open the five-game tournament on Friday against Connecticut College at 1:40 p.m., and Utica College at 8:20 p.m. Saturday will pit Carthage against Grove City College at 1:00 p.m., and Washington & Jefferson College at 6:20 p.m. The Lady Reds will close the three-day event on Sunday against Penn State-Behrend at 9:00 a.m.
The Lady Reds' lone CWPA blemishes this season occurred in a 10-9 loss to Macalester on March 5, and a 6-4 defeat to Washington & Jefferson on March 25. The host Presidents sit atop the April 5 CWPA Top Five Coaches Poll with 100 points. The Lady Reds sit in second place on the poll with 93 points.
