NEW LONDON, CONN.—The Carthage College women's water polo team faced Utica College in their final match of the CWPA League Tournament I on Sunday morning. The Lady Reds defeated Utica 12-2 to end the three-day tournament with a 5-1 record.

The victory gives Carthage a 9-3, 7-2 CWPA record while the Pioneers fall to 0-10, 0-8 CWPA.

The Lady Reds will return to action at the CWPA League Tournament II on Friday, April 7 at the Henry Memorial Natatorium on the campus of Washington & Jefferson College. The Lady Reds will face Connecticut College at 1:40 p.m. (ET) and Utica College at 8:20 p.m. (ET).Â
