NEW LONDON, CONN.—The Carthage College women's water polo team faced Utica College in their final match of the CWPA League Tournament I on Sunday morning. The Lady Reds defeated Utica 12-2 to end the three-day tournament with a 5-1 record.
 
The victory gives Carthage a 9-3, 7-2 CWPA record while the Pioneers fall to 0-10, 0-8 CWPA.

Morgan Fingerson paced the Lady Reds on both ends of the pool with four goals and three steals in the contest. Carthage Goalkeeper Emma Jeronimus registered four assists in the game.
 
The Lady Reds will return to action at the CWPA League Tournament II on Friday, April 7 at the Henry Memorial Natatorium on the campus of Washington & Jefferson College. The Lady Reds will face Connecticut College at 1:40 p.m. (ET) and Utica College at 8:20 p.m. (ET).
