KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College women's water polo team (4-2, 2-1 CWPA) will participate in the CWPA League Tournament I on Friday, March 24 – Sunday, March 26 at the Latt Natatorium, located on the campus of Connecticut College. The Lady Reds will open the tournament with a two-game swing against Grove City College (3 p.m. ET) and host Connecticut College (7 p.m. ET) on Friday. Penn State Behrend (11:40 a.m. ET), Washington & Jefferson (3:40 p.m. ET), and Macalester (7:40 p.m. ET) make up the trio of opponents for Carthage on Saturday. The Lady Reds will close the three-day event with a match against Utica College on Sunday at 10:20 a.m. (ET).
The Lady Reds will enter the tournament off a two-week hiatus from competition, previously participating in the Monmouth College Tournament on March 4-5 where they went 3-1.

Macalester College, the lone team Carthage has faced this season, defeated the Lady Reds 10-9 on March 5 at the Monmouth College Tournament. The Lady Reds are currently tied for third on the 2017 CWPA Division III Top 5 Poll for March 22.
