KENOSHA, WIS.—Cool temperatures highlighted the Carthage College men's tennis team's match with Milwaukee School of Engineering on Friday afternoon at the Smeds Tennis Center. The Red Men came in hot prior to their contest with the Raiders, winning five-straight matches. Their last lost dates back to a 5-4 decision against Grinnell College in Orlando, Florida on March 24.

The Red Men kept their #16 region ranking intact on Friday afternoon as they defeated Milwaukee School of Engineering 8-1.

The Red Men improve to 17-6, 4-0 CCIW while the Raiders fall to 6-13, 4-2 NACC.

Chris Conley defeated John Price/Tom Smith 8-3 in #1 doubles. This happened to be the third doubles consecutive victory for Jaworski/Conley. The tandems of

Singles play proved to be the same story for the Red Men as they edged the Raiders 5-1, which helped them secure an 8-1 victory.

Alex Boomgarden defeated John Price 6-1, 6-0 in the #1 singles flight. Jump followed that with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Tom Smith in #2 singles.
Lukasz Jaworski claimed a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Austin Campbell.
Alex Ferruzzi cruised past Mason Sauder 6-0, 6-1, and Leipold rounded out the victorious Red Men as he registered a 6-0, 6-2 win over Ryan Runke.

Carthage will return to action tomorrow, Saturday, April 23 at North Central College. The first serve is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
