ST. PAUL, Minn. – Carthage College completed a perfect 5-0 weekend in the pool Sunday as the Lady Reds Water Polo team defeated Caltech and Monmouth College at Macalester College's Riley Pool and Leonard Natatorium.
 
In the first game of the day, Carthage topped Caltech for the second time this weekend with a 19-10 win.  The Lady Reds defense played terrific, limiting the Caltech offense to just 1-of-10 on power play chances.  Furthermore, Amanda Booth paced the defense with five steals, while Allie Boothe and Brittany Wallace each had five goals.
 
Carthage finished off the weekend taking down Monmouth for the second time in two days as well with a convincing 19-6 win.
 
The Lady Reds will now return to Carthage for their home opener weekend of March 11th-13th as Carthage plays host to Penn State University-Behrend, Grove City College, Utica College, Washington and Jefferson College, Macalester College and Connecticut College.
