Results

The Carthage College men's swimming team (5-0) defeated Augustana College (Ill.), 153-88, on Saturday, Jan. 24 at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center in Kenosha, Wis.
 
Carthage collected double wins from James Hasbrouck (So., Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton-Warrenville South) in both the 50 freestyle (22.09) and the 200 freestyle (1:49.60), Lee Hollman (So., Fort Atkinson, Wis.) in both the 100 backstroke (53.17) and the 200 backstroke (1:58.70) and Teryn Solan (Sr., St. John, Ind./Lake Central) in both the 500 freestyle (4:57.56) and the 1,000 freestyle (10:08.20).
 
Cameron Small (Jr., Franksville, Wis./Racine-Case) won the 100 freestyle (49.10), as did Chris Riordan (So., Skokie, Ill./Niles-North) in the 200 breaststroke (2:13.20), Lucas Linder (Jr., Bensenville, Ill./Fenton) in the 200 butterfly (2:00.86) and James Weslaski (So., Racine, Wis./Case) in the 200 individual medley (2:01.96).  The Red Men also picked up a win from their 200 freestyle relay team of Ben Ertl (So., Phillips, Wis.), Hasbrouck, Small and Hollman and their 400 medley relay team of Hollman, Riordan, Linder and Small with a time of 3:34.49.
 
Carthage plays host to the Wisconsin Private College Swimming Championship on Saturday, Jan. 31, also at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center, beginning at Noon.
