The Carthage College men's swimming team (1-3 dual-meet record) lost to Lewis University, 155-107, on Saturday, Jan. 12 at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center in Kenosha, Wis.  
 
Tyler Smith (Sr., Farmington, Minn.) led the Red Men with a win in the 100 butterfly (54.24).  Eric Primdahl (Jr., Kildeer, Ill./Arlington Heights-St. Viator) took second place in both the 100 backstroke (55.85) and the 200 backstroke (2:02.35), and Derrick Rendon (So., Waukesha, Wis./South) was second in both the 200 breaststroke (2:20.41) and the 200 butterfly (2:05.40).  Benjamin Ertl (So., Phillips, Wis.) was second in the 50 freestyle (22.14), as was Scott Reher (So., Elmhurst, Ill./York) in the 100 butterfly (54.88), Tom Hubbard (Fr., Woodridge, Ill./Naperville-North) in the 100 freestyle (50.03), Scott Pinter (Jr,, Bloomington, Ill./Normal-Community) in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.66), Jake Carabelli (Sr., South Beloit, Ill./Rockton-Hononegah) in the 200 freestyle (1:50.12) and Teryn Solan (So., St. John, Ind./Lake Central) in the 1,000 freestyle (10:04.14).
 
The Red Men travel to Wheaton, Ill., on Saturday, Jan. 19 to take on Wheaton College (Ill.) in an 11 a.m. dual meet at the Chrouser Fitness Center Pool.
