The Carthage College women's water polo team (1-4, 1-4 Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III) went 1-4 at the Saturday-Sunday, March 17-18 Collegiate Water Polo Association's “West at Central Tournament.” On Saturday, March 17, Carthage fell to Wheaton College (Ill.), 9-8; lost to Grove City College by a 14-4 margin; and fell to Washington & Jefferson College, 8-5 in overtime at Washington & Jefferson's Henry Memorial Natatorium in Washington, Pa.
The tournament concluded on Sunday, March 18 with the Lady Reds losing to Macalester College, 6-5, before defeating Chatham University by a 14-5 margin.

Ashley McGhee (Fr., Chicago, Ill./Lane Tech) collected 17 saves in the loss to Grove City, and
Kati Pedersen (Sr., Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park-River Forest) had three goals against Washington & Jefferson. In the win over Chatham,
Jackie Knightly (Fr., Chicago, Ill./Mother McAuley) scored three times, while
Hannah Duke (So., Schaumburg, Ill./Hoffman Estates-Conant) had two goals and three assists.
