Carthage College Athletics

2012:  Averaged 79.2 over seven events…shot a season-best round of 73 at the Sept. 16 Carthage Junior Varsity Tournament.

2011:  Played in three events and averaged 76.0…shot a career-best round of 70 with a two-mark of 70-75-145 to tie for ninth place at the April 9-10 Ripon Spring Invitational.

2010:  Averaged 80.3 and played in five events…shot a season-best round of 77 in the April 20 Carthage Spring Invitational.

2009:  Averaged 81.3 over five tournaments…shot a season-best round of 75 against Wisconsin-Parkside on March 17.

High School:  Named All-DuPage Valley Conference his senior year and qualified for the sectionals…all-conference his junior year and finished second in the league tournament…coached by Eric Lasky…four-year member of the volleyball team and earned all-conference honors as a senior…a two-year DuPage Valley Conference all-academic pick and high honors student.

Personal:  Environmental science major…his father, Mike Jones, played soccer at Southeast Missouri State University and was later an assistant coach at Washington University (Mo.)…his mother, Anne, played volleyball at Canisius College, and his brother, Chris, is on the golf team at Lindenwood University…named twice to the Carthage dean’s list and a three-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born April 12, 1990.
