Carthage College Athletics

2014:  Earned All-CCIW honors with a fifth-place tie at the CCIW Men’s Golf Championship with a 72-71-72-76-291…compiled a 75.0 season average over 10 events with a career-best round of 69 on the first day of the Carthage “Tim Kopka Memorial Tournament.”

2013:  Earned All-CCIW honors by tying for seventh place at the CCIW Men’s Golf Championship with an 80-75-78-69-302…averaged 77.2 over 14 events with a season-best 73 at the Sept. 4 Aurora Invitational.

2012:  Tied for 23rd place at the CCIW Men’s Golf Championship with an 80-81-79-80-320…averaged 78.4 over 14 tournaments…shot a season-best 71 to win the Sept. 18 Benedictine (Ill.) Fall Invitational.

2011:  Tied for 21st place at the CCIW Men’s Golf Championship with an 87-83-77-86-333…averaged 78.5 over 11 tournaments…shot a season-best 70 at the Sept. 14 St. Francis (Ill.) Invitational.

High School:  Earned All-Fox Valley Conference honors his senior year on a regional-championship team…his sophomore-year team won Fox Valley Conference, regional and sectional title en route to a fourth-place finish at the Illinois High School Association Class 2A state championship…his junior-year team finished eighth in the state…coached by Mike Hermann…four-year member of the tennis team and two years in basketball…honor student.

Personal:  Mathematics major…his grandfather was Carthage Athletic Hall of Fame member and former coach Ron Zalokar…his father, Doug Bauman, played tennis at the University of Wisconsin…named to the fall 2013 Carthage dean's list.
